hand made woven wool rug

I have hand spun Coloured Ryeland fleece and then woven on a Rigid Heddle loom to make a hard wearing light weight rug measuring 40inches long and 20 inches wide.

The warp threads are burgundy coloured cotton cord which peep through the wool in places to give a sprinkle of colour finishing with a burgundy coloured fringe
