Coloured Ryeland wool. Xena2

Handspun Coloured Ryeland wool, spun into chunky textured yarn ideal for peg loom Weaving.

I have spun this yarn straight from the fleece and then washed and dried it in the sun. You may still Experiance some lanolin present and while I have picked as much vegetable matter from the fleeces before spinning and during spinning  you may still find small amounts present that can be picked out as you weave.

Coloured ryeland fleeces are a lively combination of greys, browns and silver with the sun bleached tips of the fleece giving amazing highlights through the yarn Each ball has the weight of the yarn, the approximate length and the name of the Sheep the fleece has come from
